Guru Aiyar and Pavan Srinath chat about the Indian Navy, on the occasion of the 11th international fleet review, and its role in both war and peace in modern India. #GCPPprimetime is a weekly online show on public affairs and policy hosted by the Takshashila Institution. Cdr Guru Aiyar (retd) used to serve in the Indian Navy, and has captained a minesweeper INS Cuddalore and worked in the navy as an electronic warfare and information operations expert on many ships. Pavan Srinath is a faculty and fellow at the Takshashila Institution.
