The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

While most listeners may be familiar with the highly successful film adaptation starring Judy Garland released in 1939, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" was originally published in 1900 written by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow.  The Library of Congress has declared Oz to be "America's greatest and best-loved homegrown fairy-tale." The story follows Dorothy a young girl from Kansas who is transported via cyclone (along with her dog Toto) to the magical Land of Oz.  — read by 'N' —
