[NFM Anthem Series] Home has a Place in the Heart with Kyle Sexton

Kyle Sexton is one of five finalists for The Anthem NFM Theme Song Contest. He is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Kansas City. Kyle fell in love with the guitar when he was 15 and has been playing in the KC metro with his band since 2012. Blues has a massive influence on his music and his favorite musicians include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and John Mayer. Kyle also has a day job as a software architect. In this episode… Kyle Sexton is one of the top five finalists for The Anthem NFM Theme Song Contest. Although he has been making music since he started playing the guitar at 15, Kyle said he has never participated in anything like the NFM Theme Song contest. Not only was the contest a new experience for Kyle, but it was also the inspiration behind his popular song on YouTube, Kansas City Heart.
