HTE 354: Doing Charity the Silicon Valley Way | Gret Glyer

My guest today is a dedicated entrepreneur and an advocate for the poor. From 2013 to 2016, my guest lived with the world’s poorest people in Africa, where he built more than 100 houses for the homeless, and famously crowdfunded $100,000 to build a girls’ school in rural Malawi. He is now the Founder of DonorSee, a marketplace that lets you help the world's poorest people in seconds after downloading the app, and then proves it with raw video updates. In this conversation we discuss, how Donorsee went from idea to reality in just a few months, the science of scaling a business and doing charity the silicon valley way. Now, let’s hack… Gret Glyer.
