Prof Amod Vijayvargiya is an established name in the evolving fields of innovation, creativity, and the future of work. Now a Professor of Strategy at a leading business school in India, Amod has played various business leadership roles at organizations like Capgemini Ernst & Young, Genpact, Godrej and Hitachi.Consulting with over 25 years of experience in driving strategy, growth, transformation, and operations for clients like: The Coca-Cola Company, Dairy Farm, Energy Australia, Bombardier, and the Jardine group. As the world now moves towards digital, Amod has consulted organizations worldwide on his POV of Digital First, and PhyGital (Physical + Digital). Amod has built and runs large multi-function captives/ GBS organizations with future-oriented setups ensuring operational performance, predictability, and customer experience with successful, industry-recognized stints in San Francisco, Mumbai, Paris, London, and Bangalore. He has also been a frequent speaker on the above topics at leading institutes and forums at the IIMs, IITs, CII, and Les Fontaine’s, France. He is a passionate and collaborative change agent. Outside work Amod has a keen interest in world history and how it influences leadership styles across cultures. He believes in the importance of behavioral psychology and actively coaches on personality traits and their relevance to the world of work - physical or digital. A lifelong pop culture aficionado, he loves to read, write and talk about movies, music, and its impact on social consciousness. Amod is an alumnus of NIT - Bhopal, NITIE-Mumbai, and the University of California - Berkeley.
