"If you are not working towards lessening your carbon footprint, you are not literate." - Dr Navneet BhullarMeet Dr Navneet Bhullar, founder of Action Group Against Plastic Pollution (AGAPP) in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. She divides her time between the US and India. She is activist at heart. She has previously volunteered at Doctors Without Borders. Last year after the lockdown, she could observe more and more plastic being used and could not stand our environment being destroyed by bad plastic waste management and that’s when she together with other doctors, counsellors to create AGAPP and start getting to the bottom of the problem and create more awareness.
