S1 E7 : Identifying a Cause
Join us in our first season as we explore social entrepreneurship, in a nutshell, along with Akshai Sarin, our host and the founder of BlessdBuy. In this season, we explore how social entrepreneurship and communities are a big part of finding solutions to today’s problems for a better future. Our seventh episode talks about how social entrepreneurs go about identifying a cause and kickstarting their social entrepreneurship journey through Divyadarshan’s journey. Divyadarshan works with the Global Ashoka Young Changemakers team. At 13, Darshan and his friends launched a student club for environmental action in his hometown of Trichy and he has led several change-making initiatives since. Prior to Ashoka, he worked with the Delhi University Research Council on improving the status of undergraduate education in the country.
