ERADICATING FGM :THE TASK AHEAD
The Kenyan government under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta promised to completely eradicate female genital mutilation in the country by 2022.I visited the villages of Kuria in Migori county where this practice is still entrenched in the community and probed the possibility of the community abandoning this degrading practice by next year.
