Ganga Dussehra
Today is Ganga Dussehra - a festival that marks for most Hindus across the globe a time of gratefulness for all the Waters on Planet Earth. Recognising this sacred element - for we too are 77.3 % water! Divvya Hiranishi asked me about my earliest memory with the Holy River Ganges and its association of it for me - so I shared my time with my Maternal Grandmother in Jammu and Kashmir during the 1960s, and what I learnt through her words and songs!
