We only know a few trans voices who have bubbled to the surface. Actor, model, transgender artist and activist Rudrani Chhetri is glad to be counted among them as she feels if not her, somebody else would have gone through the same pain, struggle and rejection. The transwoman who was told to behave ‘normal’ on several occasions and wasn’t even allowed to enter a shopping mall once, now dreams of having the community’s hoardings, a trans winning Miss India and Miss World pageant and contributing in activism and art.
