Today’s episode stars entrepreneur and startup consultant Sunitha Bharadwaj as she discusses her career journey in different industries, mentoring startups, sexual harassment at work, nurturing connections and taking risks. Sunitha, a Post Graduate in Mass Communication from Mysore University, never stuck around prescribed roles or companies for a very long time. She entered the corporate world as Head of Corporate Relations at Manipal Group and there has been no looking back since. She joined HSBC, worked with a few other companies in various roles and then started Atriium in November 2012. Unicorn Ideas followed in 2015 where she curates new ventures and counsels new startups with her expert business knowledge. Born in a highly educated and open minded family, Sunitha is very active in supporting women in the workforce. She founded two forums, BacktoWork and HomePreneurs to help women discuss their apprehensions and overcome their fears to be a part of the workforce once again. Sunitha enjoys cooking and watching documentaries in her free time.
